Nagoya: City Hotels and Accommodation
Central Nagoya lies around 32 km / 20 miles to the north-east of Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) and is home to an extensive selection of hotels, as you would expect in such an important city. Large clusters of accommodation can be found centred around both Nagoya Train Station and the Fushimi neighbourhood.
Luxury hotels in Nagoya generally offer impressive rooms and amenities, right in the heart of the action. However, whilst mid-range accommodation in the city is noticeably cheaper, the standards remain high.
Those flying into Nagoya on a tight budget will be pleased to find a range of cheap business hotels, which provide good accommodation at affordable prices. Towards the bottom of the scale, Nagoya contains a number of popular youth hostels, which often appeal to students and backpackers, although multi-lingual staff are rare here.
For the ultimate sleeping experience in Nagoya, consider staying overnight at one of the many traditional ryokan inns. Here you will find beds laid directly on the floor, together with huge baths and large dining areas serving a choice of authentic Japanese food.
